The Beautiful Spaces, Sacred Places Chicago tour series is a program of Sacred Space International, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to encourage interfaith dialogue through the shared experience and language of architecture. This 12 week series highlights 12 distinct spiritual centers over the course of the summer, one each week. Tour goers will experience diverse worship spaces throughout Downtown Chicago with knowledgeable architectural guides. Future tours include the Chicago Temple, Downtown Islamic Center, Midwest Buddhist Temple, and Seventeenth Church of Christ Scientist.
Tours begin at 5:15 pm each Thursday evening, beginning July 16 and running through October 1. Tours cost $15 per person or $5 per person for Sacred Space International members.
